Beautifully expressed. I’m sad it’s been such a hard 2023 so far, after the past three impossible years especially. I’m so glad there have been people IRL to hold you up. My thanks to them for keeping you afloat. Thanks for continuing to post Instagram stories throughout this time: the buoy me up more than you can know. Love from Colorado. ❤️
We don't know one another. I came to your newsletter via a friend and have grown to look forward to it. I am glad your back and hope the road ahead winding and interesting, but with few bumps.
Depression is like a shadow that envelops you and blinds you to the point where you can't even see the mass from which it came, and you're left to just flail your arms around trying to swim to the sun so that the shadow can be forcefully cast behind you. The sun eventually sets, though, that's the bad news, and you know the malady will return, but when it does the good news is hopefully somewhat obvious: the sun will rise again over a familiar horizon.
Im here. ❤️
My love ❤️

So happy to see you here again, and even more happy that you feel like being here. ❤️
I’m so happy that you took the time. I’m even happier to see you here. Forgive me for not checking in.
